We use the preferred methods for handling the problem of transfering personal data securely over the Internet. When you fill out the order form and press the "submit secure order" button, the information you entered is passed along a "secure socket layer", or SSL, where the information is encrypted to reach our server computer.
If your browser does not support this encrypting of information, then pressing the "submit secure order" button will simply result in an error message, and your information will not have been sent. In this case we would like to ask that you send in your order by email, without including your credit card number, for security.
After traveling securely to our web server by SSL, the information is forwarded to us by email with PGP mail encryption. PGP, or Pretty Good Privacy (that's a name not a description!) is the standard for encrypting email messages sent over the Internet.
